Contrast is an integral part of photography. Good contrast is a hallmark of quality. You can usually add optical contrast using a photo editor like Zoner Photo Studio. But no computer can help you capture real-world contrast: the difference between rich and poor, humans and nature. Only an attentive photographer’s eye can catch those.
