Metadata Tokens

Explaining the terms metadata and tokens to someone who’s never encountered them can be tricky. The Zoner Photo Studio X Fall 2022 Update simplifies working with metadata. You may have previously encountered format strings, a function formerly found in many locations in ZPS X. Format strings were complicated codes that we have now fit into clear cells, called tokens, to make working with them more intuitive. Most importantly, you don’t have to be a computer programmer to set them up.

Browser Mode in Develop

No more clicking back and forth between the Manager and Develop modules! We have a few improvements to Zoner Photo Studio X as part of the Fall 2022 Update that will make it easier to navigate and load not only individual photographs, but also batch selections.

Finally! You can now set up each folder exactly how you want. Set the folder with family photos to display as thumbnails and the folder with work photos to show as a list. As of the Fall 2022 Update, you have the option to customize your folder settings to fit your needs. We’ll show you how it’s done.

Native Support for RAW Formats in ZPS X

The main advantage is that the file contains a large amount of image data for colors and dynamics range, so it can handle bolder photo editing. However, this also means certain challenges for photo editing software. With the Fall 2022 Update, ZPS X brings its own color interface that runs in the program’s background delivering true-to-life colors to your photographs.
