Making your adventures look epic

“The photos just don’t do it justice.” Have you ever found yourself muttering this disappointedly when trying to describe the way the colors of the sunset reflected in the mountain lakes below you? Or that special shade of blue in the water of a glacier-fed stream to your friends after your adventure? You tried to take a picture to capture the moment, but the results were somewhat unfulfilling to say the least. Is it actually possible for travelers who are not professional photographers to end up with great photos of their trip? To find out, my fellow travel enthusiasts and I at 10Adventures decided to try Zoner Photo Studio X.

Full 1:1 Previews: Enjoy Faster, More Precise Work With Your RAWs

How quickly you can browse and sort your photos partly depends on the speed of your computer (alongside the size of your photo files, and more). But that doesn’t mean you need a new computer to enjoy faster photo browsing. Before heading to the computer store, head into ZPS and try out 1:1 preview preloading. Faster and better previews are among the new features brought to you by 2019’s Autumn Update for Zoner Photo Studio X.

The New Improved Export: Faster, Smarter, and Multitasking

Photo work generally includes import, sorting, editing, and export, i.e. saving your final photos. But saving edited photos isn’t by far the only thing the new, improved Export can do: It also has a wide range of uses for preparing previews, renaming saved photos, and saving photos online. And you can even do all of this at once with no problems. So take a moment to get to know this new feature in the Autumn Update of Zoner Photo Studio X.

Editing Product Photos: How to Deal With Cropping, Retouching, and Light

The goal of product photography is to set up a scene, lights, and the object you're photographing to minimize the number of adjustments needed. Despite this, situations can arise when you’re photographing e.g. an art composition or an individual product and you want to make your final picture look even better. Zoner Photo Studio can handle edits like these easily. We’ll teach you the most common and important ones.

Foundations of Portrait Composition Part I: Framing Your Model

It doesn’t matter whether you’re taking your pictures with an expensive camera or an old phone. In portraits, the same rule of composition will always apply. And your portraits will look a lot better if you stick to them. Rules are made to be broken, of course, but before you break them, you should know them. So let’s take a look at the basic ones. As you’ll see, knowing them can dramatically improve your pictures.

Guides for Editing Your Vacation Photos: How I Edited 3 Slovenian Landscape Shots

A land full of mountains, waterfalls, lakes, rapids, gorgeous villages, and beautiful cities. You’ll even find a bit of the sea. Slovenia is a literal paradise for photographers, and doubly so for landscape photographers. I chose three photos that I’ll be using to show you how a landscape editing process can look. And I’ll also give you a few tips on where to go in Slovenia to get great pictures.
